As set out in our Terms and Conditions that schools agree to, we process data relating to Advertisers and Users as detailed in this Privacy Policy and we do so on behalf of Advertisers and Users. As such we are the ‘data processor’ and the Advertisers is the ‘data controller’ as defined under the GDPR.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure with us. Our platform has been designed from the ground up to include the very best possible levels of security, this includes generic infrastructure hardening such as firewalling, intrusion detection and industry standard best practises. As well as specific threat mitigation for WordPress including common plugin and theme attacks, brute force deflection and more. All information you send or receive is transferred to our secure servers by TLS 1.2 encryption, or by email.

For additional security we use User IDs and passwords. Data cannot be accessed without the User’s ID and password.

The information is stored on FindSchoolWorkshops dot co dot uk’s secure servers in data centres in the United Kingdom provided by Host Presto Services. Host Presto datacentres are compliant with the international information security standard, ISO 27001. You agree to the transfer to and storage of all data with HostPresto.

Whilst we take all reasonable measures to safeguard Users’ and Advertisers’ personal data. For advertisers we collect this information via our registration page and subsequently via the add-listing page.

For users it is collected via the contact / enquiry form when you contact one of our advertisers
